AnIrishCatholicAt 00:42 listen to Declan Ganley and Jim Higgins:
DG You know this is the nonsense that we hear from people who cannot count. From the people like Jim Higgins and Marian Harkin who voted for a common consolidated corporate tax base, for tax harmonisation..
JH We did not,
DG Excuse me..
JH that is a lie
DG It's not a lie, you did vote for the Berasani report
JH Declan...
DG and the fact is..
JH Declan, that is a lie
DG Jim, it's not a lie and deal with it. you voted for it, the record stands for itself, the fact is, the fact is that we have a political cartel- Fianna Fail, Fine Gael, Fianna whatever you're having yourself, who, who, who there's no real opposition in this country, there's no challenge to a cartel that has pursued the status quo, that has failed to deliver for this country. We need new mechanisms to make Brussels work and deliver for people, to deliver jobs, deliver broadband, to deliver infrastructure, rebuild a fishing industry that's been destroyed, put money in farmer's pockets who are expected to...... This is a political system that is not delivering, Libertas will change that and change it well. That's what they're so very afraid of.
JHThis is Declan Ganley's canvassing card and in it he says that Jim Higgins voted for the Bersani report which would introduce a common consolidated corporate tax rate
DG base
JH RATE, RATE
DG base, it's harmonisation, it's tax harmonisation
JH No, No rate rate rate
DG I just said base
JH no. no. no. no. no a common consolidated tax base is proposed in the Bersani report
DG Did you vote for it? YES or N0
JH Of course I voted for it.
Bellemadge35As one of the countless retired people whose Occupational Pension Fund now relies ENTIRELY on it's Investments, then I fully concur with Lord Lamont.
Apart from all the people like myself there are many, many retired small investors, who now rely to a certain extent, on their investment income for extra income, no matter how small it may be it is important to them.
About time some of the young 'idiots' were ACTUALLY EDUCATED about the role that 'Investments' play in ALL our lives.
