sm2nThanks, all!
It's funny you should mention Hemel, James, because I thought of that option, and so did the guys at John Lewis. Well, I have already done my homework on that one :-) ...I manually tuned my digibox into both the Crystal Palace transmitter and the Hemel repeater in turn, and the stronger signal was from Crystal Palace. I guess it's possible the Hemel signal is stronger now, but as it's a different frequency I don't think a stronger Hemel signal would be degrading my reception from the Crystal Palace transmitter. Hmm.
PilgrimChris@sm2n Hi Simon.Glad to hear your health issues seem stable!
As for Freeview? Well as I no longer have a TV and watch what I need via mobile phone using iplayer, 4ondemand etc, I wouldn't know. I did prefer FreeSat to Freeview at the time.
syzygy(You're not picking up Hemel, are you? I wonder how you can find out...)
PilgrimChrisUpdate!
FreeSat does not include Sky channels. I was able to receive certain Sky channels when I had FreeSat, but I can't remember why!
