PuppazI hadn't noticed this to be honest, but partly this is probably due to my being in another country, partly because I really don't watch that much television. However just as an idea I know a lot of these types of series try to now incorporate a level of "great mystery" and confusion even, to keep it's viewers coming back, which must work on some people since "Lost" is so popular over here, and god, God or gods etc would add a level of that mystery without having to think too hard about complex plotlines. Just a thought and I'm probably wrong...
