stufish4040" Old Man Rambling " - Isn't that an Allman Brothers track ? =p
Shaggy72Yes, I too identify songs & movies with who I was w/ & where I was when I 1st heard them, *& the fact that they're sometimes awesome helps.
Of late, i've heard more newer, better songs from INTERNET friends sharing w/ me, than hearing it 4 the 1st time on a radio.
And, yes, I CRINGE EVERY time I hear Glenn Beck say how AWFUL the world is today & he wishes/we need to get back to the Ahmerca from his youth & before... yea, while there are SOME good, if not wonderfully GREAT memories of those old-timers nostalgic youth, times were just as bad, if not crappier back then as they are today. Kudos for keeping it in perspective, Bill!

nottspoliceNottinghamshire Police's Dog Section is celebrating the arrival of seven puppies, born under the force's in-house breeding programme.
'H' Litter, so named because it is the eighth litter bred under the programme, was born on August 24.
Mum Boo gave birth to seven pups -- six boys and one girl -- in a labour lasting more than six hours.
The girl is called Heidi and her brothers have been named Hugo, Hank, Hector, Hendrix, Harris and Hoff.
They are now seven weeks old and, in the next week or so, will be inoculated and leave the force to be taken care of by volunteer puppy walkers.
Earlier this week, the pups were tested to assess their suitability to enter a training programme to become a police dog. Those found to be suitable will start an initial police dog training course in January 2012.
'H' Litter is the third to be born to the force's Dog Section this year. 'G' Litter -- Geoff and Gilly -- were born in April and 'F' Litter was born off-site in April. Four of the F Litter pups are being raised by puppy walkers and the rest were re-homed with members of the public.
