ganymeder123Sometimes you need to be sort of blunt. It's hard when you want to be nice, but maybe just a firm, "Look, I don't want to be rude, but I'm reading now." That way, you're letting them know that you're busy. :)

With the people who tell you their life story when you're otherwise occupied...is it to do with all of us being just too damn polite! I know I am. What makes me say "that's interesting" when what I really want to say is - "shut the fuck up!"
