sonicartresearchyes, it's a fairly noisy aural portrait of washing-up! I suspended Naiant X-Xs at around head-height on either side of the washing-up setup to make this recording. I tried to be very quiet so that the main sounds would be the washing-up itself... the bubbly noise of the glasses going into the water; the sponge squeaking on the glass; you can also hear the dishwasher in the background... and the taps are pretty noisy at the end. You can hear the boiler clicking too, when the hot water comes on... and I am bangy/clattery with the dishes because I don't really enjoy the task... it is way more fun when combined with audio recording though!
soundmapSlightly odd feeling listening to that! Guess self-made sounds recorded by binaural-type arrays convey a sense of 'If you were me'.
