saxicolaOh yes, Prokofiev's Romeo & Juliet is brilliant. His Symphony No5 is great. Try out the second movement - it's like a train journey across the steppes.

I quite like ballet music myself. Tchaikovsky is probably my fave. Although i do like Prokofiev's Romeo & Juliet. Good stuff.
saxicolaI worked in the local grocery store during the school holidays and the owners always liked a good laugh. We used to walk around the shop singing 'Lasagne Verdi' in exactly the same manner as you and your 'Granula mobile'. I'm not a huge fan of opera but do find myself singing some bits of them. I do love classical and ballet music - mostly 20th Century onwards. Give Prokofiev or Shostakovitch a listen sometime.
