CarlowOperaThis is the latest edition of carlow opera series which captures the hunt for the soloists. The opera is called 'Shelter Me from The Rain' and will be performed in the George Bernard Shaw theatre in May.

CarlowOperaThe creative team have now selected the solo roles for the opera, we heard the auditions a couple of months ago and today we go back to the successful ones as they begin solo rehearsals. We get to know the people involved and what it means for them to be given the chance to perform on stage.

Its about getting them in shape, gym for the vocal chords and Fergus brings weather into the practice since weather, we discover, is going to play a big part in this opera.
