Social justice - what it means to me (prerecorded)
A very articulate and clear understanding of social justice and how it fits into the big agenda. Social justice is not a target to be met but a process of creating the necessary conditions for people to live a life of human flourishing. It is what truly empowers people in the community to achieve and succeed irrespective of their social status. You have my full support David.
Boker Tov My D! Just finished listening on your brief recorded thoughts about Social Justice. I very much agrree with you being involved with The Welfare State of this country and The Welfare State of other countries such as in the Middle East and etc. Understanding the advantages and disadvantages of involvement on Social Justice is challenging, a risky gamble and could lead to failure or victory. It is of great value taking care the welfare state of this country because firstly people are the consumers who needs and depends on the welfare society to implement the aims and interest of the state. But my question and curiosity is about taking part on the welfare state and welfare society in countries such as MiddleEast and other countries who have their own Religion,Tradition and Culture,We should respect their own way of living as a Welfare State, "LIVE AND LET LIVE" It is a sad example for what had happened with the British Doctor Karen Woo! If I was in her position I would have not gone to Afghanistan at all - A strong Intuition (sixth sense) cannot make mistake. Why this had to happen to her is the misjudgement of Intuition and only followed her heart for the Love of her work to help the weak, the sick in Afghanistan.I would not wish to see You to be in that situation because you are precious My D!!!
