rjnetThis Boo was recorded in July 2009, shortly after I was matched with my guide dog, Vance. Listeners pay wish to find "Prologue 1" and "Prologue 2" to lend context to this piece.
philcampbellFair enough, everyone has an opinion. ;)
JanemurdochCan't agree with you on this one Phil. I was in wheelchair for about 4 years in my 30's due to ME. I was offered a mobility scooter but turned it down cos I didn't want to accept that I was actually disabled...what kind of wanker am I? Not all physical disability is brought on by ones lifestyle. I am now registered as mad...I promise I did not bring it on myself!
lcheechauhi, listen to your boo, and i feel that, for me, it doesn't metter if the guide is a blind or sighted, so long as the guide knows how to gets to your needs. it is sad to say that, most of the people who provide such survice or help, didn't actually provide it according to your needs, they just do it with some guide lines that hopefully will be ok for all the blind. smile. so in another words, they just do what ever they think is the best, but they didn't realize that all blind people are different individual that have different needs. smile. you must had enough of me all ready.
philcampbellcongrats mrwhittaker! :) - yeah i really felt for dan yesterday. ..
mrjwhittakerI agree guys. Pretty much rip off Britain attitude. It's just the shops in general, not apple, although apple have agreed to shops selling on 'contract only'.
That's why i left England years ago. Now in Malaysia where it's much easier.
