Death of a Table: English Market Hurt
Peter, You are absolutely right: the poem got cut off before the end. I'm going to type it up and end it properly - will probably post the text on my blog. Thanks for such encouraging words - it make such a difference to find out that the Audio meant something to another person.
i prefer this post to mine on watering :D love the english market. i'm missing the table now did you finish the poem..... seemed like you ran out of time. now i miss the poem and the table :( on a serious note.... love it! peter
what a shame, (and I deleted the whole long comment I wanted to say too, so I write it again). This is change - I hate to see, when for no good reason but for sheer profit that the life and spirit is withdrawn for greedy. I remember a place called the Winding Stair in Dublin where I'd go to read and enjoy. The place was honest with all walks of life, rich, poor, young, old, weird and friendly. This what I love about such establisments! you get to see and exam life all around you. These pivotal points within towns and city is where life hinges an upon, where all things become equal.
Besser mucke bessers bier was soll man sagen :-)
