andymooseman@kenrg I must say, i prefer doing radio to parties etc. I'd love to do more radio & well be doing some more next year.
As for the hanging turntables, it was more a case of pogoing than slam dancing.
kenrgMy formal dj experience was all college radio, which was one of the greatest things of all time. I've never done the full dj thing at parties beyond pre-programming a mix for my own get-togethers. I love the idea of the turntables suspended from the ceiling to maintain playability during a slam dance :^)
andymooseman_PIP_ I think it certainly did in some ways. I've actually been listening to a few radio orientated podcasts recently & the consensus, amongst people who work in the industry, seems to be that, yes, the glory days of radio have probably gone. But, that it won't die, just evolve. I sure hope that's right.
