briangreeneforgot to add that when you ring the number with the extra [5] you hear the voice mail message, press # and you are asked to enter a pin (or as they wrongly ask for your password)
andymoosemanClown would have been equally appropriate :)
Like you say, as i'm used to a studio environment, that must make a difference.
I tend to forget that Claire has an international reputation. She lives near me & until very recently lived, literally, around the corner from me. She's very nice & a real supporter of local music & she's actually putting on her own gig in aid of the pier in December. I'll be there selling the CDs.
kenrgDid you say the politician has "more clout" or is "more of a clown"? Comes out the same, in the end, I suppose...
I agree that in-person is better for interviews. But, like you, it's because I'm comfortable with the equipment. I suppose some people are a little freaked out when they first see microphones and cameras and mixers and things and would prefer the phone, but I want to see the other guy's eyes.
Looking forward to the international link going up to buy the CD - I still can't believe you got Claire Hammill!
birdtwitchrhi - this seems to be the only way i can contact you - but are you coming to choir practice tomorrow? - 7:30 at St Cuthberts, Newnham road,... let me know!, Kathy
birdtwitchrbut when you play it on the soundmap - it works really well as it just burst in and out like percussion when the playhead swoops past... i like it!
risThanks, but this one was a bit of a screwup - seems I got the fade in fade out wrong, so it's clipped at the start and end. May fix sometime.
