Our mission team has finished working in Lodz, Poland for the week and was heading to the Auschwitz Concentration Camp where many Jews were killed during the war. We were riding on a train that presumably could have been running on the same tracks that many rode on. Having just been immersed in reading one survivor's account in the book "Night' it was eerie to listen to the rhythm of the tracks under the weight of the train and even more so when the train abruptly came to a stop a few times - out in the country. This was an overwhelming experience to visit this camp and realize the level of Evil that took place.
