MarkGallacherHi David, liked this audio boo.
Rejection stories: I once received a rejection for a collection of short stories from a small Scottish publisher - four years after I'd sent the manuscript in!
suttonnickIn our series on the future of the book, we have heard pessimism from the author Graham Swift who fears that the rise of digital publishing will mean writers can't earn a living. We have heard from publishers concerned about the power of Amazon and from an agent who says the industry needs to change radically.
But should ebooks be feared? Kate Pullinger is a Canadian novelist who won the 2009 Governor General's Award for her book The Mistress of Nothing. She has also been writing digital fiction for the past ten years including Inanimate Alice, a story for children. She says the new technology should be welcomed.
amicuscommercialProbably talking about our blog... don't put out rubbish!
Any idea how to insert an audioboo into an outlook e-mail? And is there a bit of free software to edit a MP3 file for audioboo?
Thanks for everything yesterday. Talk soon.
Ian
