BeerBeautyThis boo is attached to my blog post about a little trip to Heart of Staffs Beer Festival the other night! Have a read: http://www.funf-media.co.uk/beerbeauty/?p=2353
ColtSeaversWell, that was delicious.
It's very much a light ale - perfect for a summer evening. I'd say it's an ideal drink for a larger drinker who fancies trying something a little less processed.
Reminds me of many of the other Golden Ales that most decent brewers make in the UK these days - but it has a more distinctive, robust taste. Quite hoppy. At 5%, it's a decent strength.
I would recommend it, especially with Spicey food, or sunshine. 9/10
BeerBeautyMake sure you get to the GBBF this week - I was there yesterday (recorded a tipsy boo!) - was hectic. It would be crazy of you to miss it. Let me know if you do :-)
syzygy@BeerBeauty - I didn't so much leave CAMRA as let my membership lapse... I am almost ashamed to admit that my enjoyment of ales tends to come from the supermarket... hopefully that will change when I have more time to explore festivals!
Might see you at GBBF - I've got some pals who are working there (you may well known them - Caroline & Matt...) who have invited me down.
