Ready For The Future
A Rather Brilliant Idea For The 50/90 Challenge
FIFTY songs in ninety DAYS?! I wonder if I've even written fifty songs in ten years. Well, not fifty good ones anyway. Maybe a challenge like this is a great way forward - you must get a lot done and then even if not all of them are great, something should be good - right? Tweet titles will be a good source of inspiration I think. Slightly unrelated but the ENO (I believe) is letting people write an opera using twitter - it's called Your Opera I think (imaginative). You could steal tweets from there but be warned - they are bizarre. I think there are some pigeons involved. In the story - not the tweeting. The website with audioboos is a great idea.

*audio fail* Boo To Self: Stop Trying To Write For "The One"
Wow. That's a quality ZX Spectrum sound effect loop I'm buried under. It's happened before with the MicroMemo and 1st Gen iPod Touch. Sometimes you have to quit all the apps, plug in the mic, start AudioBoo, record a bit, turn on the MicroMemo speaker, listen back. 50/50 success rate. If anyone knows what makes it work or not I'd love to know. At the moment I'm stuck with hefty soundchecks, which I forgot this time. And while I'm at it, how come the same mic setup that produces wonderful, crisp audio in AudioBoo gives me low-level distorted crap in Voxie and Fring? Is there some sort of mic/line level switch in the software? Preamp settings? Can't figure it out.
are you playing pacman while playing this? - or manic miner?
ouch - mic not plugged in properly i don't think mate --- or you forgot to get out of the microwave?

It Hurts To Say Goodbye V.1
My first attempt to write a popular/folk song. This original of two versions, speaks of the emotions and thoughts I encountered saying g...
It Hurts To Say Goodbye Missing you already, it’s only been two days, Besides, we’ve both been here before, Still hurts to take my turn, find words to say goodbye, It hurts to say goodbye. Chorus It hurts to say goodbye, bid our fond farewell, Acknowledge one more curtain call, It hurts to say goodbye, our hearts in pain know well, It hurts to say goodbye. No one taught me more, mistakes I made forgave, God knows you tried your best before, I’ll always feel your love, even laid out in my grave. I hear the final bell, its toll rings out for me, The time has come to fly – adore, Strength and grace I find, forgive this last farewell. We met, fell in love, you were my joy in life, More was never meant to be, Perhaps I’ll walk again, with you in the afterlife. Still loving your smile, recalling times of guile, I’ll always see your eyes, afore, I close my fading own, your love still comforts while We say our last goodbyes. Chorus: It hurts to say goodbye, bid our fond farewell, Acknowledge one more curtain call, It hurts to say goodbye, our hearts in pain know well, It hurts to say goodbye. It hurts to say goodbye.
