excellent work - good yahoo pipes cleverness - if you knock the &_render=rss off the end, it shows up nicely as a web page....
An RSS feed of steve's audioboos, with titles and descriptions translated into Spanish is available at: http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.run?_id=07cd27dc95233f4fcafd9e53d4e2458e&_render=rss ...no Catalan translations available yet!
Carnival - 'Twitters from the Atlantic'
"There are references to Carnival in island government records as far back as February 1556, but the fiesta has grown from strong influences from South America and the Caribbean, as many Canarians left the islands after the Spanish Conquest seeking work or their fortunes in the newly discovered lands of the Americas. Some islanders were forced to leave their homes in the Canary Islands by the Spanish government as it wanted more people to settle in the Spanish colonies in the Americas. Over the years, many islanders returned to their homes and brought with them many traditions from these newly discovered countries..." www.barriemahoney.com and www.thecanaryislander.com

@anakin1814 I'd never hold any member of my family back from travelling. These things need to be done & i'm so glad that i did some travelling when i was younger too. I just hope that i'm able to do some more myself in the future. LOL @ the walking on water comment.
...and according to this map, you recorded this boo in the middle of the ocean! THE MAN WALKS ON WATER!!!
It’s great to see that as a family, you travel together as well as do your own thing. I think that’s very healthy for each person to go on their own adventures and have their own experiences. It’s also very cool to see that as a father, you’re quite excited to let your children experience these things on their own vs. holding them back. My parents hate that I travel as much as I do. They’ve never done much of that themselves and can’t understand why I’d want to. My mom just sees the dangers of it vs. how enriching it can be.
