cyberdoylepolitics is a virus. yep, spot on there. Can't find Adam Bolton on twitter to tell him what a hashtag is, do you know if he is on it? Most politicians know jack about the digital age, they rely on secretaries and PAs to do all the work for them and hand them a nice printed crib sheet. That is why most of them still think the voters have broadband, they have never taken the trouble to find out that over 3 million haven't actually. Maybe the voters would like an independent who actually makes contact with them using social media. One or two audio boos showing them working? not carefully staged tv appearances complete with make-up and obligatory hangers on and stooges... needs a dose of thinking about but think you are on the right track with this...
