soundmapWind noise can be a tough problem to solve - professional sound recordists spend big bucks on windhsields trying to prevent it, even then they don't work in all situations. Funnily enough, the phone sock actually works not bad. One reason is smartphone mics don't respond to very high-pitched sounds, so you don't notice much of a muffling effect.
