syzygy I've made a microphone cradle out of a paint roller, too..! https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BKqEhIYCcAAlFCJ.jpg (that's version ) Funnily enough the microphone it holds is completely perfect for a parabolic mic, since it's quite a directional one (a shotgun intended for video) - must try this!

jn2n I can relate to your Android experience. I've recently bought an Android tablet after years of Apple experience, and it all seems unnecessarily complicated to me. I'm used to clicking on a file and it opens and works. Not so on Android. I keep having to ask an Android-experienced friend who keeps telling me I need to download a different app for every occasion. There also seem to be different places to get all these apps, and you need to make sure you get the right one for your device. My next tablet will be an Apple... ;-)

syzygy If it's any consolation, conversations I have with my daughter often end up like this.. and going off in all sorts of directions (mostly at my expense :D) A cherished recording, though! :)

topgold Stefano! The last I heard, you were looking for a car and an ICD. Then total silence! So you definitely were well overdue for sharing on Audioboo. While you were gone, NickHollowayVox discovered some old mail, macolgan lost a daughter to marriage and an iPad to a clumsy pedestrian, Ernmander switched Audiomo to July and MarkRock got turfed out of his office.
