Jane Marczweski, contestant of popular variety show ‘America’s Got Talent’ recently passed away following a four-year battle with cancer.

The USA Today sent a statement regarding the passing of the singer, saying that ‘your voice, your story and message touched millions’. The 31-year old’s family confirmed her death ‘with the deepest heartache’.

The family mentioned in a USA Today statement that they’re devastated by Nightbirde’s passing and mentioned that her song, ‘It’s OK’ has inspired millions with her never-give-up stance and messages of faith. TMZ was the first to report the aspiring artist’s death, and AGT host Terry Crews also shared the news on Instagram.

The Ohio-born artist was forced to withdraw from America’s Got Talent halfway through the show’s 16th season, citing her declining health as the reason. Her original song, titled ‘It’s OK’ captured America’s heart and earned her a Golden Buzzer from one of the judges, Simon Cowell.
