About Echosmith
Echosmith is an American indie pop band from Los Angeles, California. The band consists of four siblings: Jamie (lead vocals, guitar), Sydney (vocals, bass), Graham (guitar) and Sydney’s twin brother Noah (drums). The band’s name comes from the song “Echo” by The Beatles.
The band released their debut album, Talking Dreams, on October 8, 2013. The album reached number 5 on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Their breakout single “Cool Kids” reached number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was certified platinum by RIAA.
The band toured with Twenty One Pilots in the fall of 2014 and with Paramore in the spring of 2015. They also performed at various music festivals, including South by Southwest, Lollapalooza and Firefly Music Festival.
The band’s second album, Inside a Dream, was released on September 29, 2017. The album reached number 22 on the Billboard 200 chart. The lead single from the album, “Dear World,” was released on June 9, 2017.
