The Duchess of Cambridge recently went on a trip to Denmark and experienced going through a slide in the Copenhagen University College’s LEGO Foundation Playlab.
Middleton spoke to the leaders of the Playful Learning Programme to discuss various children’s experimental and creative approach to learning. The program is part of the joint partnership between LEGO and six universities within the Denmark region. Kate revealed her intention on social media by using LEGO blocks to announce her trip.
The two-day Denmark visit caps off the duchess’ Early Year Foundation. During that time Kate will learn how the country creates a culture of early childhood development, particularly aspects where playful learning, relationships and nature is involved.
Kate’s visit is part of the work of The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, which helps encourage best work for those aged 0-to-5 in career and the international stage. Middleton wore a white shirt and red blazer to represent the Denmark flag.
